Creation club Sentinel armor problem

So i recently got the Sentinel power armor creation club mod and did the mission but when i get to hacking the power armor when i click hack it does nothing, i can't continue the quest at all, i've tried multiple characters and it's the same result, i have no mods that conflict with the sentinel power armor mod, does anyone have a reason as to why this happens?

updated the unofficial patch lately? doing that through bethesda net lately broke my game, ended up downloading it via nexus.

end of last month yeah, had updated it myself then sort of did weekday stuff, came back to the game the other night to chill and a whole crap ton of stuff stopped working, disabling unofficial fixed the issue tho you shouldn't disable it so i took the alternate way and installed the nexus version which from what i know is updated far more often

download it again, if its a newer version it'll be listed twice on your nexus mod thing, double click your "ticked" one to disable it then double click the new one to switch over to that version :)

hopefully, its worth a shot as it fixed a similar issue for me where hacking wouldn't work at all

Yea i tried and it still didn't work, i dunno why the sentinel mod doesn't work for me

i found the reason, i needed the power armor hacking perk, stupid game :P
