Then there will be numbered folders depending on the slot you saved it in when you exported the settlement.
My advice is create another folder and copy and rename the settlement files. Then when you want to import it later move a copy of the settlement into the folder.

Yeah I intent to make a copy of it, so I'll be creating a different folder. Probably make an empty desktop folder, drag-copy it in, then put it in my external hard drive.
Do you think I could try uploading it to nexus? (I've done a little more expanding and fine tuning)
I have never looked at any prebuilt settlements other than Sim Settlement CIty Plans. Which is what I was using the export feature for.
Some settlements are really cool looking and built in ways I'd never considered before.
