i seem to be having a problem with mods where they are causing the vault elevator and gate to been invisible but i don't know what mod is causing it could anyone please help thanks

Funnily enough, toggle on god mode right before entering the elevator, and youll survive the fall once you load in, then let them do the speech, the invisa prim that would be the elevator will lift the characters off the bottom of the shaft and you can walk through the 'gates' and continue on with the story

I was having this same issue. I resolved it with my load order. I was using PRP and had it too high. Moving it down to the second to last (just above Scrap Everything) fixed it for me.

That's the downside to loading hundreds of mods. When a problem appears, it requires a LOT of experimenting to figure out which one(s) are causing the problem. A particular mod might not cause a problem by itself, but in combination with one or more other mods, issues can arise. Troubleshooting is a nightmare, in that scenario. That's why I only run vanilla, the official expansion packs, and some Creation Club stuff that has been thoroughly tested by Bethesda to just work, without interfering with anything else.

That's because it wasn't scrap everything that caused it.

Try harder when you download and install mods that have texture changes, model changes, local area mods, or anything that affects animations. I have to assume your mod list is significantly different than the OP's from a 4 year old thread. Read all the bug reports of every single mod - cc and bethesda distributed as well - before installing them.

Mods that change Vault 111 can cause this. Generally, mods that change or destroy pre-meshes cause this too.
