Go prone
why isn't there a prone/ laying down stance in fallout 4? there is a go prone stance on the nexus for new vegas and 3 so, why is it so hard to make in fallout 4? it would be really good for snipers and tagging enimies

Hold your breath, it will do the same thing except you will not have grass all over your face.

There was a prone stance built right in back with Fallout: Tactics, but obviously standards have slipped since then. :steammocking:

Well having a 2d image replaced with another 2d image and providing an acuracy boost is easier to implement than in a 1st person game i guess???

I think you mean 2D versus 3D there; a 1st-person perspective isn't unique to 3D graphics.

I'm reasonably sure MXR had a mod featured that allowed for various positions.

cause "it's a feature, not a bug"

Same difference, you know what i mean. Lol

But on that subject, how do you make a first person 2D game... if you are talking about old dungeon crawlers like Might and Magic or the firsts Doom, those are made with 2D graphics but are still in a 3D environnement.

There's a mod for that, you can prone, roll left and right but only works with some weapon mod

I was just checking that mod out today, he does mention his english isn't the best but

From mod page :
I spent a month researching and try to deleting the weapon ESP...
Now it's Success !!!!!!!!
what new in v1.4 :
0.Deleting the weapon ESP files Requirement

sounds to me like it no longer restricted to some weapons, but i could be wrong

Because the developers didn't consider it necessary and because you haven't made the mod yet.

I mean, its so easy to make, right?

This basically.

I mean, think about it. When you "crouch" your character model does not shrink. You still can't squeeze through those spots that are too small for your character even when crouching.

Crouching does NOTHING other than slightly improve weapon sway and enter stealth, you don't actually shrink your profile just move your hitbox around a bit

Plus, getting out of prone takes longer as your character would have to actually get themselves up.
