What do you think Tato and Mutfruit taste like?

Hmm, tato with Brahmin cheese sauce...that there's some good eatin', with mutfruit fritters for dessert. Washed down with a vintage 2134 Mutfruit Vineyard Special Edition Deep Red Cabernet Sauvignon.

In reality, though, it all probably would have no real flavor, since all of that would require a sense of smell and taste that likely has been severely-diminished in order to protect the body from the overwhelming stench that is the Commonwealth. I cannot imagine the 200 year old downwind-from-a-sewage-treatment-plant odor that probably permeates everything. It likely is akin to being stuck in the world's largest elevator with a wolverine that has severe gastro-intestinal issues.

If I may, I agree with the Mutfruit
["myut-froot" (as in mutation), not "muht-froot" (as in a dog mutt) btw, there is a mispronounciation on some fallout radio stream I heard once]
being too sour - they looked like Plums to me, so I thought they tasted like under-ripe plums (with dirt and electricity highlights mixed in).

According to Scribe Neriah's terminal, the tato: "Tastes as absolutely disgusting as it looks, but will keep you from starving." There is no comment given on the exact nature of this taste.

Reference is made to mutfruits being sweet, but again there's no specific description. They're a component in the recipe for Vim, so they might taste partly like a drink based on the real-world drink Moxie.
