Mole rats doesn´t show up at the Red Rocket Truck Stop

They´re supposed to show up a little after meeting the dogmeat... but never show up somehow. Traveled and completed various quests already and still doesn´t show up. This can be some kind of glitch or they´re just not showing up because this is a random encounter? Anyone went through the same?

are you talking about the molerat den?

Try shooting into the ground around the station. Or waiting inside the station for a little while. They are supposed to spawn.

Sometimes the attack can be mutants too and raiders, but most of the times it's molerats at the red rocket

He is talking about the mole rat attack after you first meet Dogmeat, before you even own the settlement.

Wander around the station, sometimes there is a delay.

Also did this and even used V.A.T.S and it doesn´t detect anything around.

Forgot to ask. Do you 'own' Red Rocket yet? If you do then that event probably will not happen now. It was supposed to be what you had to do to be able to claim Red Rocket.

I think I just activated the workbench right after meeting and accompaning the dogmeat. But I´m not sure if I waited enough to encounter the molerats before that.

It happens even if you do own it prior. I do it all the time. Either Place Everywhere or Sim Settlements allows you to take it before clearing the molerats.

I feel really uncomfortable with this issue becuase I feel like it can cause some another problems. Unfortunetly seems that they never want to get out onto the ground still and I´ve already built several settlements this whole time.

no I meant, I got a different attack then the mole rats a few times after meeting dogmeat and getting him to do tricks and look for enemy's, instead of the molerats, super mutants came from across the street
