Curie - intentionally wonky pathfinding?
Just found vault 81/Curie for the first time recently, and noticed that synth Curie's pathfinding is much more awkward than every other companion. Is this intentional? It would be in character.

The path finding in Fallout 4 is complete @#$%. The developers cheated to make it work by having the AI teleport rather than actually make their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ path finding AI work.

Yes. I remember when I played Fallout 4 and had companion they always were stuck somewhere or they run and fight some patrolling super mutants or whatever behind walls.
Had to reload to teleport them.
On top of that somehow game teleports NPCs on top of roofs or under the ground, so, don't be scared when You see Piper on roof.
Yeah don’t even get started on pathfinding in this game my arthritis Dementia plagued grandpa can pathfind better and he’s dead

Of course it's intentional, she's not used to her human appendages just yet *immersion intensifies*

For sure she stood in the same room for god knows how long, it's not easy to get your bearings back.

It just works

Is there anything that ISN'T wonky in vault 81?

All companion AI is sh!t...not just Curie's. The really f#@ked up thing is the Bethesda made the companions as wonky as they possibly could. Why? My guess is that they consulted a psychologist to advise them on how to psychologically manipulate the players to maximize their profits...the psychologist probably said, "If you abuse them they'll get the 'Stockhold Syndrome' and love you and want to help you...fuhgeddaboudit!"
