I don't actually use a pipe shotgun mod but the first pipe shotgun I found has no inventory holo-image, no actual model when holding in hands and no sound etc. 100% missing for some reason.
I also took a look at the ini file and that's all fine. Reinstalled etc.
I use vortex
Edit: Turns out the issue in my case was the mod Weaponsmith extended and it's follow up mod calibers which essentially means that another 6 - 7 mods which rely on either of these two don't work anymore.
This is why playing modded games is ♥♥♥♥. One stops working and the entire thing falls apart.
ffs
Put this into your Fallout4Custom.ini:
[Archive]
bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
sResourceDataDirsFinal=
It is located here: C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\Fallout4
It might help. I had a similar issue when I installed alternative textures for pipe weapons, they didn´t show up in game until I put this into the ini file.
Cheers
do what Hump dude said.
The vortex mod loader already does this for you.
This is pretty much the first time one will find when searching for invisible guns on google
Thanks for the imput tho.
For me it was weaponsmith extended which broke a whole bunch of mods a long with it as they all rely on weaponsmith extended. Weaponsmith currently has this bug and nobody knows when it will be fixed. It's been in their bug section for over a month now so good luck with this game I guess.
Seems that the re-pack is not done correctly. You can disable the mod or revert to an earlier version (there are some) and stick with it if it works.
Ok, I didn´t know this, since I have never used vortex.
But maybe it helps the OP idk. I use to install mods manually, so I have no experience with mod installer programs tbh.
M1 Garand Classic (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/20687?tab=description#)
Crossbows of the Commonwealth (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10484)
Both of these mods have no requirements on the nexus and MO2 also states both don't rely on any master files. The M1 Garand appears to conflict with two other sniper mods, but is currently overriding them so it shouldn't be a problem
