Stuck in When Freedom Calls
Just started playing Fallout and I'm stuck on the quest when freedom calls. I've killed deathclaw and the raiders even the quest appeared on my screen when I killed deathclaw but it didn't do anything afterward. How can I fix this?

Did you go back into the Museum?
Look around for more raiders. Look down the nearby streets. Do you have the Tunnel Snakes CC? That causes a problem with this quest.

I haven't installed any mods and I've tried looking for more raiders, but I'll keep looking tho. Thanks

Check the quest step, if it says that you have to kill raiders and its like (7/8) than there is a raider hiding. Also, one more thing, you dont have to complete when freedom calls to complete the main quest, unless you wanna do the minuteman ending, you can just wonder until you find diamond city or go to the location of one of the wasteland survival books that just gives you the location of diamond city on your map.

Yeah I restarted to the vault and then after killing deathclaw with the power armor I walked a little farther out of town and it got done.

one thing to mention is that sometimes one of the raiders spawns inside the wall of one of the buildings requiring a weapon with area damage like a grenade to deal with them. Or pick them off as they periodically stick their hand or foot out of the wall trying to reach the player character.

I find melee weapons work best in that scenario when tyring to hit something in a wall. That way you aint wasting ammo, especially early game like that.

Fallout 76 has the same issue occaisonally and I find throwing grenades can make them move out of the wall as the mobs will attempt to move away form the grenade, not sure if that works for Fallout 4, and grenades are more rare in Fallout 4.
