I was the same way until I figured out how to beat it. Now I go there for target practice.
noob
That raider in the power armor. pfftt. He or she is a wuss. Snipe 'em.
There is a bus not far from there where the back window is blown out. Excellent view.
Well, I played melee, after I was blown up within a second try I took some psychojet, headed up the stairs and finished him off... but I complain that it was not a satisfying fight... IMO one hit kill enemies are simply bad game design (yeah I know, opinions differ), especially when playing survival as I am doing and at such an early stage of the game. Outpost Zimonja is similar, I mean that guy still shoots with fatman, when you are directly in front of him.
Somewhere I've read, that there (Lexington) should also be a Behemoth, which the raider is fighting with his fatman, but in my case there wasn't any... just me, a pfffffffffff-sound and a very nice death animation of my char... LMAO
That does not spawn until you are above level 30. If you go back after 30 it will be there. The 'king' also spawns only after you are above 30.
