Use the Fallout Performance Monitor from Nexus mods to see how your computer performs when playing Fallout 4 to get a better understanding on what the problem really is.

your leaving off what gpu you have , if it's a laptop ( i bet it is ), dlc ?, modded?
so how can anyone give or offer a solution when you're so vague .
this is all you offered
"my game crashes , and it's crashing more now than before ,
i have windows 10 and an i5 "
so who knows ,
but it will be fun to watch the thread to see what odd recommendations you get
It is a desktop. I don't have the dlc and no mods either. Sorry about not giving my gpu, i just didn't know how to find what gpu i'm using. It is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760.
I am not using any mods. I also always close everything except fallout 4 when i'm playing it.
No mods, and i haven't tried the 2 others things you said. Do you think that could solve the issue? I don't know how to verify the cache though.
Yeah I think it might have to do something with overheating, but can it overheat that fast in just a minute of playing the game?
this has to be your pc's issue, your pc most probably couldn't take how power hungry fo4 is. what's your gpu though?
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Download Unigine valley and install, its a gaming load benchmark utility that can run for as long as you like https://benchmark.unigine.com/valley
Download MSI Afterburner and install, then in the options (monitoring tab) configure whatever sensors (show the GPU fan speed as well to check it is running) you want to display on-screen (there is a check-box below the sensors window to enable) https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner
Then run Unigine valley and see what happens.
