Radio Folder Missing in Fallout 4 Directory
I'm trying to make a radio station mod, but I hit a pretty huge roadblock when getting everything set up. I need to make a folder in Data/sound/fx/mus/radio, but the problem is there is no "mus" folder. I can't even find the Diamond City Radio files if I wanted to (but the songs still play in the game somehow.) I've verified the integrity of the game cache and tried to just create the folders myself, but both solutions haven't worked. Any other ways to fix this?

I'm guessing your following a tutorial by RadioactiveNuke on Nexus Mods.

I did some looking around and this video tutorial said to just make the folders yourself. Yes I know you said you did that. I also checked another tutorial that also said to create the path if you dont already have it.

Radio Station Tutorial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1vu0uFAZWk
Tutorial 2 - https://www.worldofmods.com/fallout-4/faq/78-how-to-add-my-own-music.html

You may also want to know that the radio files at least to my knowledge are located in the Fallout4- Sounds.ba2 and to access need to be extracted using the Bethesda Archive Extractor.

Other then that I dont really know what else to do. Im sure with hard work you should be able to make the radio station especially with the number of guides out there.

Also a side note make sure you music files are not mp3 files but compressed .wav files. The video tutorial talks about it I think and that may be why your original attempt failed if you just dumped music in there. So make sure your music is in the proper format and you follow one or two tutorials to help guide you.

Well the problem I had when making the fodlers myself is the songs wouldn't add to the list on Creation Kit. I made sure they were the right format (16-bit .wav), and when I selected the song to add it the window would close but the song would not get added to the list. I'll try this all again from the start but if it doesn't work again then I'll be at a loss

Install a custom radio station mod. Make sure it is working. That way it will set up all the folders for you and you'll also know that the game is properly set up to use the new songs.
