Is there a mod or console command to restore settlement to its original state?
I was wondering if there was a way to restore objects that I have previously scrapped... For example to get sanctuary back to the way it was the first time you encounter it...

You're just mad because it's an obvious answer and you didn't think of it. But the answer is otherwise no, once you scrap something, it's gone for good and cannot be recovered.

Actually found a mod that rebuilds all the assets in your settlement, thanks for your input though you must be a very bright individual

what's the mod? Or were you talking about the transfer settlements mod?

Simple solution is using Transfer Settlements, load up an old save. Save the former workshop, load actual recent save and load up the old save version. This would be the best coarse of action, I have also noticed another way but it requires more steps...

If you have used a scrapping mod and regret the scrap, you can uninstall the mod (or disable it). This will revert the Settlements back to normal, but it will affect ALL settlements that you have altered. Then you can re-install / enable the mod again, and start from scratch.

Also good advice to have some hard saves before getting heavy on scrap mods. I made a bottomless hole in the road in sactuarty once, broke my game completely.
