Fallout 4 Xbox One on PC?

I just got Fallout 4 GOTY edition when I opened the game to start a new playthrough I found that some of my Xbox One saves are on here I googled if its possible to transfer console data to pc and didn't come up with anything has anyone every had this happen to them?

This is just a guess but if you are using Windows 10 then it might be possible that the pre-installed Xbox programs on your computer detected that you now had Fallout 4 on the PC and put your cloud saves from the Xbox onto your computer to play.

I don't know if this is an actual feature but that is my guess.

yes windows 10 can see your xbox one saves.
You can even transfer your 360 saves but thats a little bit extra work useing modio.

Is there a way for me to manually transfer all of my xbox one saves? Cause when my TV is in use by someone else I'll just play it on here instead.

Doesn't that need my xbox to be on for me to play on my pc? cause I've tried that before and it was really laggy.

I imagine you just open up your old save then save on pc and its saved on your pc

Okay so I searched up the play anywhere feature and I need to the windows 10 anniversary update and digital copy of the game but I have just vanilla version of the game no DLC or anything just got right after launch in 2015 on console for 2 years. Can I trade the game for a digital copy?

how did any saves show up? I own the physical xbox one copy, the vanilla game, but i have the season pass on there and back in may fallout 4 vanilla was on sale for 12 bucks on humble bundle so I bought it and I see no xbox one saves at all

can you go into very spoecific detail onm exactly what happened, there has to be something I am missing, I just signed up for a free month of gamepass to make my xbox copy go digital, I found the season pass for pc on sale on humble bundle so I bought that, so I have the same exact game, same content all digital and still nothing, i have a 200 hour dave on there, please try to remember exact details, I searched for a long time and you are the only one that I found that was able to somehow port an xbox one save to pc

Well I had Fallout 4 on xbox one first and never on steam, later on on in 2017 I decided to get Fallout 4 on steam and I the GOTY edition on sale for like 29:99$ US, I NEVER played Fallout 4 on steam before and I only had the physical copy of the game for xbox one no DLC just plain vanilla.

I started the game up on steam and played the normally with mods installed and one day I noticed that there was another character save on there. My chracaters name was Nathan and that other chracater save was also named Nathan, I have no idea how or when it got there and as far as I know, Fallout 4 is not on the xbox play anywhere list so I have no idea how my save even got there.

And apparently I'm the only person who experienced this, it's really weird.

The saves were old though and not very recent from my most recent xbox saves, the saves that were transferred to steam were me in the subway saving nick valentine, and my xbox saves I already finished that mission then I was already looking for the institute.
