diamond city agro

for no reason what so ever the diamond city guards wont stop attackingme. its never happened beforetill i played on PC, ive never been there before on PC and never killed anyone or anything, they just agro me for no reason, how do i stop it? and waititng didnt work

i tried that several times prior to asking here, but didnt change a thing, i would wait around 3 to 5 days in game but they still agrod. thanks for the idea though

maybe you were involved in a quest that made them your enemy. Or maybe some guard caught you killing somebody.

Stealing or break and enter (picking a lock) if caught will also set them off, usually get out there and fast travel somewhere else. Take your time getting back there and check with the guards(a guard) outside of DC if nothing happens then good to enter.

I've had this happen a few times when coming up on the Super Mutants just over the bridge. Bad aim and hit one of the DC guards. They dislike even 1 shot of friendly fire. Might have to reload an older save to fix it. See if it's just a minor glitch.

sadly isnt, they attack me before the super mutants are even visible and i dont draw a weapon. so it cant be that ive hit one of them, also the turrets dont agro and neither do any of the named npc's or guards

sadly not that, icant get into diamond city at all, the guards outside kill meand prevent the dialouge scene with the mayor dude from happening. and ive not broken into any houses or lick picked anf only terminal i hacked was to get to the fusion core in concord
