Do CBBE and Super Hero Bodies work together?
Not sure how it works in the Bodyslide tool with both of them? Not covered on the install pages that I can see, like, how would I switch between making outfit builds for CBBE female bodies and Super Hero male bodies? Any good tuturials out there for this?

I have CBBE installed and working on female NPCs only as I am using a male character, just wanted the upgrade in textures etc. and I have Unique Player all set up already for my character to be able to have a unique tattoo, so I'd like to be able to have the super hero body on him and only him and CBBE for all the females basically, is that possible or nah?

One last question for you since you seem quite knowledgable about this, I also have "Unique player" and the install page for Super Hero Bodies says if I have that to use the version thats made for it, but yet there IS no version made for it, so where would I install everything to to make sure it's only affecting my character? I'm sure a normal NMM installation would make every other NPC except me have the body as it is lol

Hummm. Well thats a whole other can of worms.
See the custom player mod adds a new folder in the F4 Data directory. You need to move the Body Mesh files there, manually or with bodyslide. Same for the textures.

The armors will look the same, worn by you or the raiders. You would need new texture and mesh folders for all the armors and clothes if you want to look unique. Thats just a whole lotta work right there.

Hmmmmm. How about if I wanted to make JUST my character have the Super Hero body when he is naked, or wearing only 1-3 different outfits which never get worn by others? (Minuteman General outfit for instance) Cos I rarely wear different stuff anyways then I would be unique yes?

Also are you saying to install everything from the Super Hero mod into the Unique player folder? Cos I know where that is all right, it's in Data/Textures/Actors/Character/PlayerHumanMale, So do I just put everything in there? :/ Dunno what textures I am supposed to put in there though because after manually downloading Super Hero bodies I see there are only "Meshes" and "Tools" inside it?

In this case you only have to open Bodyslide, Create your buff man body. Save it as a preset.
Drag n drop the Body mesh into the custom player mesh folder and Create the armors using that saved preset.

If you see raiders with hunk bodies just find the male mesh folder and delete the body, or replace it

How do I create a man body in bodyslide? I haven't even managed to get Super Hero bodies installed yet? I haven't installed it because it will only affect npcs since I have unique player? I don't know, I honestly feel like burying my head in sand right now I feel so dumb :steamfacepalm: I'm not even sure what half of what you said there means xD Dunno where I'd find these body mesh files, dunno how I'd make a male body preset in bodyslide, I'm surprised I can walk and chew gum at the same time honestly xD

Im the type who would need a step by step walkthrough I think lol. It's just not getting through to me. Hate keeping bothering you about this so screw it, thanks for trying to help but I just can't understand how to install this with unique player messing everything up so I think I'll just leave things alone.

Oh boy. I might be bad at explaining. I can admit that.
Try searching bodyslide tutorials you havent already.

When you open Bodyslide, Click presets and find Superhero body. Tweak it to your liking and save it. Then Build it, there is a button you have to press for it to save in the bodylide folder (Same place as bodyslide.exe) otherwise it goes to Mesh/character/male etc. You can still find it there and copy paste it into the Custom player folder.

With armors. Install them. Open Bodyslide and Build the ones you want with the saved preset you made. Go in Game and check. If you find out all the armors are buff, proceed to remove the male armor mesh files you dont want.

Install the mods and try to learn how it works. Basically it just over writes vanilla. Anything goes wrong.. Remove mesh. Simple.

Just gonna leave you with that for now. Its 2,30 AM. If you have more questions ill answer in the morning. Good luck mate.

Wow, your a little later in the night than me then haha, and don't worry, you're actually great at explaining all this, you have a lot of good info there, I'm just exceptionally slow when it comes to learning this kind of thing really, I need it layed out start to finish exactly as I would do it, I'll take another swing at it later or tomorrow with this new info, only thing I'm thinking about is if I simply install and activate Super Hero bodies through NMM won't that automatically make ALL male characters in the game have a buff nude body? I was thinking I couldn't install with the manager because of that and unique player and stuff?

So, I got my character to have the body :D and I think Npc's don't have it anymore :D Hard to tell though cos I used Allen Lee from Far Harbour as a test guy cos he was near me and he seemed big enough, but then I tried another shopkeeper and he was small, so I think it worked :D So now just make sure any outfits I build aren't commonly worn or else whoever else wears them will have my body? What about the "premade" ones from the Super Hero Bodies file itself? WIll Maxson be huge all the time cos he wears the coat that was premade?

And basically anytime I make a change to my body all I need to do is move the meshes from one folder to my unique player one and that will also remove them from all nude NPC's?

Also, for the sake of outfit building compatibility with CBBE, do you know if anyone has created a Super Hero Bodies patch for Eli's Armour Compendium? That would be handy, doesn't seem to be one on the mod page.
Edit: Actually just realised even though I checked Eli's armor as being able to be used with this body preset it's still not seeming to use it, guess its cos the outfit isnt specially for SHB like the other ones you linked me, the entire Eli's Armor mod is CBBE after all, so no wonder the bodies are always showing as female. Pity, great clothes there, but If I'm using this body can't break my immersion like that lol having myself small down to wear those

"And basically anytime I make a change to my body all I need to do is move the meshes from one folder to my unique player one and that will also remove them from all nude NPC's?"
Yes, you got it. Just make sure the superhero mesh is gone.

Yea, i would have given you the link if it existed and i knew about it. Someone might still make the conversion though, its one of the few good armor packs out there after all.

Have you noticed the "Morph" function in bodyslide? If you build bodies and clothes with morph checked and you have a looksmenu mod, you can basically edit your characters physical form in the char menu. Im talking more detailed editing, not just slim-muscular-fat. Its a beautiful thing if it works as well in F4 as it does in Skyrim. Easy way to edit a custom body in game + with morph armor conversions everything forms to your bodyshape while leaving npc untouched.

But hey, if you figured it out and everything works now thats great!

I think everything is all good now with the mod :) Only part I'm not 100% clear on that I just need to clarify one more time, so if I build clothes to this preset I should be the only one who wears them right? Otherwsie I'll have buff NPC's who are also wearing that item? Or is it different since I'm the ONLY one actually USING the preset on my actual body? Bottom line, should I only convert clothes I plan to personally use? What about armor pieces? Should I not convert them? Seeing as if I convert MY armor pieces ALL armor pieces will convert?

Other than that, I think I'm good, I don't have Looksmenu because it also always seemed a little complex to me lol so I avoided it, plus I can always use SLM to modify my appearance on the fly, so no need to learn the whole morphs part since I don't think I will be using it.

Thanks a ton for all your help here, if not for you I would definitely have given up on this long ago lol guess its all the better I didn't :D Happy Holidays!!!

When you do things like this, Any armor you convert to Superhero will be buff no matter who wears it. You are over writing the vanilla mesh.
Just convert the armors npc dont use, ones you planned to wear

Yeah, I thought so, that's handy enough anyways, cheers for the info :D

Oh, also, last thing if you know it, first time playing through Far Harbour and I was wondering is Old Longfellow supposed to be as jacked looking as he is? xD Or did I accidentally build a preset for his outfit :/ I just noticed he seems QUITE big, and I never seen him in vanilla lol so really hard for me to tell. Gonna look up a picture of vanilla him and compare to what i seen last night but thought I'd ask in case you know for a fact he's meant to be smaller proportioned xD
