You got this, I believe in you!
See the custom player mod adds a new folder in the F4 Data directory. You need to move the Body Mesh files there, manually or with bodyslide. Same for the textures.
The armors will look the same, worn by you or the raiders. You would need new texture and mesh folders for all the armors and clothes if you want to look unique. Thats just a whole lotta work right there.
Drag n drop the Body mesh into the custom player mesh folder and Create the armors using that saved preset.
If you see raiders with hunk bodies just find the male mesh folder and delete the body, or replace it
Im the type who would need a step by step walkthrough I think lol. It's just not getting through to me. Hate keeping bothering you about this so screw it, thanks for trying to help but I just can't understand how to install this with unique player messing everything up so I think I'll just leave things alone.
Try searching bodyslide tutorials you havent already.
When you open Bodyslide, Click presets and find Superhero body. Tweak it to your liking and save it. Then Build it, there is a button you have to press for it to save in the bodylide folder (Same place as bodyslide.exe) otherwise it goes to Mesh/character/male etc. You can still find it there and copy paste it into the Custom player folder.
With armors. Install them. Open Bodyslide and Build the ones you want with the saved preset you made. Go in Game and check. If you find out all the armors are buff, proceed to remove the male armor mesh files you dont want.
Install the mods and try to learn how it works. Basically it just over writes vanilla. Anything goes wrong.. Remove mesh. Simple.
Just gonna leave you with that for now. Its 2,30 AM. If you have more questions ill answer in the morning. Good luck mate.
And basically anytime I make a change to my body all I need to do is move the meshes from one folder to my unique player one and that will also remove them from all nude NPC's?
Edit: Actually just realised even though I checked Eli's armor as being able to be used with this body preset it's still not seeming to use it, guess its cos the outfit isnt specially for SHB like the other ones you linked me, the entire Eli's Armor mod is CBBE after all, so no wonder the bodies are always showing as female. Pity, great clothes there, but If I'm using this body can't break my immersion like that lol having myself small down to wear those
Yes, you got it. Just make sure the superhero mesh is gone.
Yea, i would have given you the link if it existed and i knew about it. Someone might still make the conversion though, its one of the few good armor packs out there after all.
Have you noticed the "Morph" function in bodyslide? If you build bodies and clothes with morph checked and you have a looksmenu mod, you can basically edit your characters physical form in the char menu. Im talking more detailed editing, not just slim-muscular-fat. Its a beautiful thing if it works as well in F4 as it does in Skyrim. Easy way to edit a custom body in game + with morph armor conversions everything forms to your bodyshape while leaving npc untouched.
But hey, if you figured it out and everything works now thats great!
Other than that, I think I'm good, I don't have Looksmenu because it also always seemed a little complex to me lol so I avoided it, plus I can always use SLM to modify my appearance on the fly, so no need to learn the whole morphs part since I don't think I will be using it.
Thanks a ton for all your help here, if not for you I would definitely have given up on this long ago lol guess its all the better I didn't :D Happy Holidays!!!
Just convert the armors npc dont use, ones you planned to wear
Oh, also, last thing if you know it, first time playing through Far Harbour and I was wondering is Old Longfellow supposed to be as jacked looking as he is? xD Or did I accidentally build a preset for his outfit :/ I just noticed he seems QUITE big, and I never seen him in vanilla lol so really hard for me to tell. Gonna look up a picture of vanilla him and compare to what i seen last night but thought I'd ask in case you know for a fact he's meant to be smaller proportioned xD
