{Resource}Gunpowder - missing from the Ammunition Bench?
Hey guys..
Ever since I got the Loads of Ammo/More Calibers mods, I can't seem to find the most important crafting material needed for the new bullet types?

There's a category in the Ammunition workbench(Yes, I have Craftable Workbenches mod) that says GUNPOWDER & PRIMERS. But they're all primers and no actual gunpowder.
Am I missing something here or is there a different way of obtaining them?

It's been Quite a since I used that mod , but I thought it gunpowder was made from either straight fertilizer or fertilizer mixed with something else . Sorry I can't be of any more help .

I am having the same issue. I realize this is a bit of a thread necro but I have not been able to find an answer anywhere. Most posts I found had issue where they could craft gunpowder and primers but not the ammo. I have the opposite problem there is no gunpowder or primer tab either on ammunition workbenches, or chemistry workbenches. Neither do I see them sold at vendors. I can disassemble ammo for some gunpowder, and I can make casings on ammo bench, but without primers I am out of luck....(not unlike reloading in real life. Pretty sure the problem lies in my collection of mods, but I have no idea how to go about unraveling that mystery easily considering one of them is AWKCR, which I think is what creates the gunpowder and primer thing in first place?

Like original OP post I have "Loads of Ammo"/"New Calibers" mods. I also have Standalone workbenches and Crafting Mastery. (with AWKCR PATCHES. I have found mods that reduce cost of creating ammo to base game components (steel, copper, etc) but I really want to use the actual ammunition crafting system, and have a way to get primers and gunpwder either by being able to craft them or even disassembling....so far disassembly only yields gunpowder and lead. Anyone know a fix? Pref someone who has experience.

Not to be snooty, but because i know it's coming...what I am NOT looking for in a response.

1) Why you don't like AWKCR or that it is a problem. I have chose to use this mod and removing it at this point is no solution. I know it's a mess and probably why I have the issues, but that is what I am trying to unravel, I would pretty much have to start game over and from scratch again to take it out at this point.

2) Theories and ideas on it without having the slightest idea what these mods are or what I am talking about.

3) What someone slightly remembers about what base game mats were needed when they saw it work once....without a recipe option in a menu who cares?

4) snarky comments about modding... If you don't like modding why reply to a modding question in the first place?

What I need is someone who used AWKCR and New Calibers and got this to work! Or better yet had the same problem and found the answer (@reisswald). To that individual I would be forever grateful for your wisdom.

BAh I am an idiot. I found solution. The issue was I had added the mod
"Crafting Workbenches - Craftable Weapons Armor Clothing Ammo Junk"
It adds a second Ammunition workbench that is used just for components etc. So you have to have two ammunition workbenches... this is even more confusing if you have the standalone workbenches, and AWKCR workbenches. So there is a mod that removes AWKCR workbenches from build menu (they are redundant) And being able to only see the standalone, and Crafting Workbenches it is more simplified, note both workbenches look like one another in build menu but the one that makes the ammo has clutter, and the one that makes primer does not.

The nice thing about the "Crafting Workbenches - Craftable Weapons Armor Clothing Ammo Junk" is that you now have separate clothing and armor benches and your chemistry station isn't a catch all for every mod. I also now that I understand this prefer my ammo benches be separated for ammo and components. I have been scratching my head for months.

I hope this helps someone else.
