Danse Permanently Hostile

I've came across an issue thats been part of my game for quite some time where no matter what I try, Paladin Danse is always hostile. It didn't bother me for a while, but now that I'm trying to finish the main questline siding with the Brotherhood of Steel, I just can't do it. I've tried it on many new saves, I've tried using console commands such as 'recycleactor' and 'resetai', I've tried uninstalling every single mod I have, I've gone away and made my character sleep for 72 hours, and I've tried all of those on a fresh new character (with no mods) as well and it still didn't work. I've looked it up and it seems nobody else is having this issue. Can anyone help?

All I do is walk up to him and he immediately becomes hostile and starts shooting me. Even on brand new saves.

Nope. The character I was having try to join the BoS just had a generic human name and i even made a brand new character actually named "DanseLoveMePls". Needless to say he didnt LoveMe.

Are you running any mods that modifiy the Brotherhood, or Raiders?

So Danse is hostile prior to the BoS coming in via airship?

If the airship has already come in, then perhaps you've accidentally shot at BoS soldiers around the Commonwealth, aggro-ing all of the BoS. If it hasn't, then there is no in-game reason why Danse would be hostile.

Where are you seeing Danse? Is it by the police station? Are any other members of the BoS, such as Scribe Haylen, aggroed?

The closest mod i was running that would effect Danse is a better companions overhaul. But even when i uninstalled it entirely, he was still aggro-ing me.

I tried going to Cambridge police station both before the airship comes in and after it comes in- both times he was aggro. Both Haylen and the other guy was there but they aren't aggro- its only Danse.

Since your using mods, please list your load order straight from LOOT.

...I use Nexus Mod Manager and I had around 140 installed but I also uninstalled them all then made a new character. Which even then he was still aggro.

Lets trying jumping you ahead in the quest chain, see if that helps. Open the console, and type in;
player.setstage BoS202 110

the command works just fine and i got into the prydwen to talk to Maxson but I'm still not considered to be alligned with the BoS.... can't use the work station at the Bost Airport to build the Signal Intercepter (to go into the Institute). Any advice there?

Also, haven't ran across Danse after executing that command so I'm not sure if he's still hostile or not from that quite yet.

So you uninstalled all your mods, made a new start and Dance was still hostile to you?

Something is wrong, that's not the way it should work at all.

Honestly I would almost suggest uninstalling FO4, delete everything left in both the game folder and in the FO4 folder under My Games, and then reinstall.

It almost sounds like you installed a mod that did something weird and then did not get fully uninstalled and carried over to your next game.

Do you know if i uninstall the game entirely does it delete all my save files from the game for when i re-install it?

Those saves would contain the corrupted data, and Danse would still be hostile.
