Why are there no bikes in the fallout games?

nexus has mods to allow trucks and i think bikes too.
i'm not ready for that yet, but i like the idea.

Nexus has or at least had a motorcycle mod. Not sure how well it works.

This is a fair point pedal bikes can be maintained with little effort are low tech even the more primitive factions should be able to field them and need no fuel or complex power source. It's kind of odd there absent in most post apocalyptic media given how useful a mountain bike would be for travel in favour of cars and motorized transportation.

Nobody rode Bikes by 2077. They were also in the process of banning Tricycles when the bombs fell.
