Rain Leaks Through Concrete Roofs?
I realize how appealing a woman looks when her skin is all wet and glistening from the rain. I really appreciate this. But--what's wrong with my concrete? My buildings are made of concrete, and I sort of wonder what kind of cheap concrete I'm buying from these local merchants.

What can I buy that actually keeps out the rain? Try to picture the health of your settlers after a month or two of being constantly rained on.

I don’t think there is anything... I assume it is just the game not recognising that the roof is there

Not to mention the water logged beds. There we sit--with lights, sofas, and beds. And all of it mildewing to pieces from the constant leaking water. Sort of wonder how long the lights will last before a circuit breaker short out, and all my lights go out.

Correct. As far as I have seen ALL roofs leak. Kinda sad. I think I saw a mod description once that says it fixes it, but I am not going to try it.

It's an exclusion zone post process FX issue.
In an open world environment, it's particularly difficult to implement.
Beth gets around this (in Skyrim) by implementing a separate instance when you enter your homes. The catch with that is you cannot see through any windows because the world "outside" doesn't exist.

Still it's dry inside my mansions in Skyrim. I think I like that better. You have a couple of nice, cheery fires going. Everything's warm and dry. In my FO4 mansion I'm walking around in ankle deep puddles of rain water.
Same in FO4 that it won't rain IF you are in an interior cell. But not that many non-mod non-DLC player homes are in interior cells - only Home Plate?

There's the cellar in Sanctuary but there the walls drip. Gross. Any other interior cells that are inside player settlements?

There's the pub in Far Harbor that gives an impression of having daylight and an outside view, as long as you don't look too hard.

You have the mole rat den in Red Rocket, but I can't haul beds in there. It'd be something if you could set up lights and furniture in there. Still wouldn't look very cheery I imagine.

Now if I could just get these to stop leaking.

I never noticed it as I use mods that add shacks and things. Though come to think of it even the modded flooring and roofing i've used keeps out the rain.
