Fallout 4 "X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing"

I recently purchased Fallout 4 and every time I have run it it's either not run at all or displayed the message "X3DAudio1_7.dll is missing" or something along those lines. Could somebody please help? I have these:

Windows 7
i5 Intel Core
64 bit
8.00 GB RAM
AMD Radeon RX 460

if anybody could help pls that would be rly gud thanks

Probably need to verify your game cache:

Right-click on Fallout 4 in your Steam library and go to Properties/Local Files and click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache". Steam will scan your files and replace any missing or damaged ones.

I've done that already which didn't help at all it still displayed the same error message. I'm currently re-installing the game. I think it had something to do with my not letting it do the first time start up operations and such. Thanks tho.

Oh, and check your system info; Steam bar/Help/System Information.

Here are the requirements for FO4:

MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
Storage: 30 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:
OS: Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent
Storage: 30 GB available space

In particular, if your processer (the GHz), memory (the RAM) and/or graphics card (the GB) don’t meet the minimum requirements, your machine almost certainly won’t run the game.

Aah - gotcha. Cool; learn something new everyday. But yeah, I saw "dll" and went for it.

I have the same problem, but i have been playing that game on the same computer for over a year, i have over 300 hours of playing on fallout 4, tried switching off antivirus, firewall, gforce experience, disconnecting internet, nothing works, i have never installed any mod, and all of sudden it doesnt work anymore......

X3D sounds like a Direct3D audio driver. Find your Motherboard or Sound Card's vendor's site and update drivers.

And yet I'm getting the "x3DAudio 1_7.DLL didn't load" and the "Xinput 1_3.DLL didn't load" messages everytime I try to launch the game.
I cleaned all the old programs off my system by resetting but when I reinstalled everything, this problem keeps popping up.

so looks like a problem with dx11.

open command window and run dxdiag. see if any issues/error msgs.

reinstall dx11 with admin permission. if there is a repair option in the installer, use that.
