Is there a fast way of getting screws?

I'm far into my game yet I don't have any screws. Is there a fast way of getting them?

General traders usually have shipments of different resources (head to simply scrap/general traders or weapon traders for screws shipment)

A lot of junk contains screw mostly what i can remember from globes. also toy cars. I suggest scavanging often screws material on your path or if you got the caps spend em on some shipments.

I use the scrapper perk (I have it maxxed out) on all the useless weapons that I pick up from raiders (mostly pipe pistols and assault rifles).

1) You can collect and buy screw containing junk like hotplates, globes, toy cars and desk fans.
2) You can take the scrapper perk and scrap a lot of the weapons you pick up along your travels as many will contain screws.

Go to a house of ill repute. lots of screws there.
Scrapper perk. scrap crap guns intead of selling. sell the unwanted pricey ones. buy from a vendor. If you have the mods on hand don't demod them before scrapping. goodies have rarer ingredients

Scrap Pipe pistols and short double barrel shotguns. I believe the Scrapper perk nets you more screws.

Buy shipments it is more expensive
Its cheaper buy desk fans etc but you need to carry them or supply line

As a screw-hording habit, I always buy: desk fans, globes, handcuffs, hot plates, typewriters, toy cars and other "screw happy" junk when shopping at General Merchants (which along with Surgery Centers and Restaurants are the best merchants to install at your Settlements).

And yes – Scrapper! Break down all those crappy pipe guns and other firearms you don’t want.
