Editing save files
Hello,

i've noticed afther checking my special stats on my Survival run that appearantly my character has 16(+) endurance, while normally she'd have only 5(base) + buffs.
Note, i've got nothing to boost my endurance equipped(Full Recon Assault armour).
Afther doing some searching on the web, it's appearantly comes from a bug when you're asleep while a food buff fades off, making them permenant.

As i can't use the console(i'm trying to do a modless survival run for achievements) i can't edit my SPECIAL-stats via the ingame console.
My question is can you edit the save files outside of the game to, for example tone down my Endurance special stat from 16 to my normal base 5.

I'm asking this because i've noticed this bug way too late, so i can't revert to an earlier save. At this point my character is basicly a bulletsponge for enemies(currently Level 68.) and it's sucking a bit of the fun out of my Survival mode run for the last few levels.
(I shrugged it off as "'eh i'm lvl 60+, maybe this is how it's supposed to be" until i noticed my endurance was at 16).

Thanks in Advance,

Arashi

EDIT: Typo.

Pretty impossible I would think.

Pretty sure it wouldn't be in the ranges of 'impossible'.
The game has to pull character information from somewhere, in this case the save file stored on your HDD/SSD.

EDIT: English*32.exe has stopped working.

Well, that was... a short answer to say the least.

Actually no, it's quite possible. There's a utility floating around called Fallout 4 Save Game Editor that can be found with a quick Google search. Just remember, as with all utilities like this, BACKUP, BACKUP, BACKUP. Did I mention backup?
