Survival bug - never hungry or thirsty
I'm playing Fallout 4 on Survival mode and my character never gets thirsty (even if I use chems or stimpacks), never gets hungry, and can't rent a bed from an inn. I can still consume items or go through the dialogue to rent a bed at an inn, but the food/chems don't affect my hunger or thirst, and the inn doesn't subtract any caps or allow me to use the bed.

Everything else works fairly well - my only other issue is that tree/landscape LODs sometimes fail to load their high-res versions when approach them (which I can fix by exiting to the main menu and then reloading my save).

I've noticed that this issue is much more common when I die and then return to my previous save; it's not guaranteed to produce the bug, but it's pretty regular. But it also happens at apparently random times throughout my playthrough.

I haven't managed to find any fix for the issue other than to load a previous save. I've mostly been ignoring it, but I lost two characters to this bug (one of which had about 200 hours of playtime on it) because I didn't notice it until my autosaves had been overwritten. It's happening with my new character so frequently that I have to reload to a previous save every hour or two, which (as you can imagine) means a whole lot of backtracking. I'm really getting to the end of my rope on this, but I don't understand how to fix it.

Steps taken to fix the bug:
1. Uninstall all mods
2. Uninstall Fallout 4, then re-download off Steam and reinstall
3. Exit to main menu and load a previous save before the bug occurred (the only solution I've found so far)

PC specs:
Windows 10 Education (64-bit)
Intel Core i7-6700k @ 4.00 Ghz
32 GB DDR4
ASUS GeForce 8GB Dual-Fan OC Edition
Fallout 4 and Windows installed to 500 GB SSD

Thanks in advance for anyone's help.

Also, anyone happen to know what the issue is with the Bethesda forums? I tried to post this there but I kept getting a "You are not allowed to create or update this content" error message, even after refreshing, logging out/back in, etc.

There is a LOD Falloutprefs.ini tweak that will fix that.

fMeshLODLevel2FadeDist=4000.0000
fMeshLODLevel1FadeDist=8000.0000

This makes me think that your playing with Mods that are out of date. Its possible to do since this game has gotten well so many patches since release and those can upset older mods, that dont get updates right soo...

Suggestion, write down on a sheet of paper the name of each mod that effects
Survival,
Hunger,
Thrist,
Aid Items, Food Items, Water Items,
Write down the name of your save mod,

Go find them on the sites you downloaded from and read up the comments try to find out if others have issues and why.

Myself I dont have an issue with Survival Mode, Im playing it for a long time now without issue.
Have all the DLC,
I'm using
"Survival Options"
Vlads Sorting
DEF_UI
Raider Overhaul
Super Mutant Overhaul
See through Scopes
Vault Tec Acceleratted Focus System

Some Tweak Mods
No Companion Fall Damage
NPC's use grenades
No vanilla radiant quests in DLC areas
Vertibird Flight Fix

Also a whole bunch more stuff but its mostly Settlement stuff to make it cool to play with in game.

Thanks for the help. The only one of those I've ever had installed is DEF_UI, and I haven't been using it recently. The only other mod I've used that has changes to food or survival settings is Fill'Em Up Again, and I've just confirmed that it's not the source of the issue.
