Croup Manor Settlers Bug
I've run into a bug at Croup Manor where quite a few of my settlers either spawn in or fall into the water off of the cliffs. Are there any ways I can either prevent this from happening or any kind of console commands I can use to teleport them back up?

Stairs.

I have the same problem.. I may look into installing stairs like 'mfree' suggests. However. i am sure the build area ends or there may be an issue getting them to fit into the cliff face. I will most likey use console commands (modpos x, y or z) to the stairs to fit properly. I don't use any 'place in red' type mods; I just use console commands to successfully move objects around.

thats a known bug. nothing you can do about it. fast travel away. a LONG WAY away. fast travel back so enough time passes. the settlers should "warp" back up. sometimes they do sometimes they dont. croup manor is a horrible place to build sadly. just dont build there. this bug is just one of the reasons. persistent ghoul corpses beeing another.

I'll be gaming shortly, I'll pop over and throw something together.

I've already built a path up to the top of the cliff over to the right side, but I'll be more direct with this one.

Yeah they do seem to fall off, ha, about 6 settlers were down there. but they all walked around and back up.

I don't think it's a bug really.

I was wondering where my settlers were. A-holes on the shore next to the rock face and I can't build there.
I'll try the fast travel thing. But if someone can let me know the console command to expand the border of this spot, I'd really appreciate it. Building a stair case would resolve this issue where they spawn, unless there is a console command to move the spawn point.
If there is a command to move the spawn point, I'd use that instead.

I don't think stairs are going to help tbh, since the build area ends just before the cliff. I did manage to get my settlers out tho, and I did it by building and ringing a bell. The dudes in the water heard it and walked out. So that's one fix.

Now that you mention it, that bell usually does work. It's helped me locate settlers that were loafing around. I already have one set up and I'll use it to see if they come around.

Yeah, it's been a while since I've Crouped, I forgot where the limit was.

But I did drop some stairs in my build to cut their return distance, since I'm fortressed up.

Using the modpos console command is a really good suggestion (getpos and setpos are important related commands). Maybe build a barbwire fence around the cliff edge. Finch Farm is the worst in my experience. If you build on the overpass, settlers will continually fall off even if you cover it with floor panels. In another game, the settlers kept spawning in the 4 foot tall space below a house I built down towards the beach.

You can build on the overpass overpassing Finch Farm? Cool. Back on the subject of a fence, it won't help. They practically teleport over there.

Yeah, they fall right through the overpass when they spawn up there. I started off building a platform underneath it to act as a suicide net, and finally just made a big enough platform to move all stores and stuff off the overpass and it seemed to prevent it from happening.

I went back to ring the bell, oddly enough the settlers were tending their crops this time instead of taking a bath in the ocean. Seems to have resolved itself ... for now.
