Railroad vs Brotherhood

I want to play as many quests as possible, I already did some quests for the brotherhood of steel and the railroad guys. Now I heard in the railroad headquarter that the brotherhood is seen as an enemy. Is there any quest which is a point of no return? I think the brotherhood want to constitute me to a knight now, are the railroad guys attack me after that ceremony, or I´m still able to solve their quests?

you need the quest tactical thinking, from the BoS to destroy the railroad, then they are your enemies, i walked in there HQ as a knight

Ok, then I make all the quests of the brotherhood, till the tactical thinking. Do the quests of the brotherhood have any effects to the relationship to my friend decon, the agent of the railroad?

If you follow Tactical Thinking then he will become hostile. Even if he's not in the HQ when you shoot it up.

What I do is form an alliance with the BoS, MM, and RR so I can be a part of all of them and finish the game and they never become hostile to each other.

Note, that the three faction peace only works if you finish the main quest line for the Minutemen.

Ok, I don´t now, how to finish the main quest with the Minuteman... Preston only give quests like protect a settlement and so one. I thought the quests of the detective Valentine leads to an end. Now I have 160 h of playing, yesterday I killed that guy named Kellogg, but I want to save the main quest till the end and play all the dlc´s first... I didn´t even had a look at far habor or nuka world. I was busy building up every possible settlement.

^^ Essentially you can gain access to the Institute, and after you get in, start shooting people. You'll get a new quest to escape the Institute, and when you do, you'll have a new quest that starts the process of destroying the Institute. I don't think it matters who you build the teleporter with too, but if you want to achieve peace, you have to destroy the Institute with the Minutemen but be on good, friendly terms with both the RR and BoS

Ok, thanks. I pay special attention for not doing any quest which attacks one of the factions... But anyway I think I will take a lot of more time to take care for every farm. There are still new farms appearing which need support... I just finished building the Vault 88. I read 1000 settlers are possible there. Is that true?

But I think thats not possible the first big hall is full of stuff and now I have space for 50 people. Ok if I would build only beds and food ond 3 floors maybe 150 people. But 1000?!
