Invest one point in Local Leader perk, and link your Sanctuary settlement to Startlight Drive-in via a supply line. By doing it you'll have full access to everything you stored in Sanctuary workshop.
1: build something whilst the components are in your inventory or workbench
2: Drop items you wish to convert into components in a settlement hold V to get to build mode and press R on them individually.
there is no way to automatically deconstruct items.
Best solution as stated above is to link them with local leader perk.
The second best solution would be to move the junk items which have the components you need and then just build the broadcast tower + power to deconstruct the items.
Don't forget rubber if you're using the second method as it's the easiest to forget i find.
help gears 4 or help rubber 4 ....
use the directional arrows to scroll if need be, untill you find the gears item ID #
i will put a fictional ID number in this command line so you see the command by typing:
player.additem 0007f1d 7000
press enter
close console and you now have 7000 gears
If it's your first playthru i dont recommend this type of cheating, but since ive played over 600+ hours i do it the quick way lol
If you need to cheat to get gears after playing for 600 hours, your doing something drastically wrong.
