You Cannot Rest While Taking Health Damage.....

Survival mode. I just exitted the Makra Fish Packing Plant, being shot at by a hive of angry synths. I got by them and made it to my coastal villa nearby. Then I tried to sleep and save.

The game said "You cannot rest while taking health damage."

Well, it didn't actually say that, but lettering to that effect appeared above my character's head. I checked for damaging effects. I had +10% damage from adrenaline. Caffeine effects, +1 hit point for frsh water. No damage effects were visible, but my health bar WAS dropping.

I took an antibiotic, a waste of an antibiotic--no effect. I took a refreshing beverage, another wasted, valuable healing potion. My radiation level went to zero, and I continued to lose health.

Anyone have any idea what this is? Is it a bug? I ended up having to quit the game without sleeping. This is dangerous by itself, since we only have 4 autosaves in survival mode. When I go back in I'll be down to 3 saves left.

Answering my own question. When I restarted the game, the message disappeared. I was able to sleep and save, and heal. I hate wasting antibiotics and refreshing beverages, but there it is. It's some kind of wierd bug.

On the subject of wierd bugs BEWARE: Fighting radscorpions can bug your perception to -1 (or lower). Check your stats after fighting them.

Glad you fixed it. I've only received this message when trying to sleep outside during a rad storm.
