How do you call yours war dog back when is missing, help please ?

I have a war dog but he some time disapeare,Is there way to call him to you? How ?Also is there way to heal your dog,how? In Witcher 3 you just whiste and Hors come to you.I vent to one house there wasn't any shootings I know he didn't die,also if he die can you revive him?

Do you mean dogmeat? He is just like any other companion... just ask him to join you. Also you can heal him with stimpacks when he is down.

Yes I made him companion vent to one house,no enemies were there but when I come out of house no dog come out?
I put a armor on him and give him lots of food,now I can remeber in which house I been in

A companion should always follow you... maybe try to fast travel he'll teleport to you.

Well that's the problem,he should follow me but oustside he did I just vent to one house and he didn't come out,There should be one comand to call him back to you.If it is I don't know which button can do that.I playing it on key board on PC,I nwer yet fast travel,thanks I"II try that but DEV should thing about that in next patch.Now I have to figure out how to fast trawel?

I don't think it is a problem with the game mechanics. It is most likely an issue due to your inexperience (16 hours). Keep working with the game. I'm sure it will work for you.

Fast travel or move away from the area, he will show up behind you.

I've lost companions a few times - usually when sending them back to a settlement, they never show up at the settlement, despite waiting, using the bell in various locations, exploring the entire settlement, playing elsewhere for days. I came across some console commands (you can find things like this by searching for "Fallout 4 wiki" in your browser) that will bring companions back (they will appear right next to you). Here's the one for Dogmeat.

To enter it press the ~ button and a little box will pop up. Paste in the first line first, press enter, then the second line, enter. Press ~ again to escape the console, and Dogmeat should be right next to you.
