Did that once for a Jet farm, that way its very easy to get 30+ Cows (i recom not more otherwise you maybe cant get anywhere in the settlement)

If you want to collect the Fertilizer deposited by their Brahmin be sure to manually assign them beds since their AI bugs out otherwise and you lose those happiness points, which affects production rates.
I highly recommend 1 brahmin trough for eveyr 1-2 brahmin you own. This helps prevent them from killing each other when being placed as your settlement loads.
Not sure that info is correct. You might be confusing the food production bonus that used to max out at 15 (5 per brahmin.) I do not think that affects fertilizer production.
This is because production timers are not affected by time sleeping, waiting, or fast traveling.
