Where can I find Melon & Ash blossom?

I don't think I have come across these at all, also if anyone knows of Thistle locations that would be cool too I picked thistle very early on near red rocket and it has never respawned at all.

Thanks no wonder I have never seen any I have wandered every area but the burning sea.

I've heard of the glowing sea, but what on earth is the "burning sea" ?

Ash Blossoms are very rare, and look identical to the Melon Blossom. The wiki has theese locations:

* Two ash blossom plants can be found growing in a small inlet across the river almost due south from Cambridge Polymer Labs. Unlike the plants found in the Glowing Sea, these plants are found growing on the rocks of the shore, rather than in the water itself. These are the only ash blossom plants found outside of the Glowing Sea.
* Best source of these are in the two large pools between the Hopesmarch Pentecostal church and the capsized factory where the eastern one produced twelve and the western one, eight.
* Nuka-World (add-on) Three ash blossom plants can be found in a pool next to a tipped giant Nuka-Cola bottle, right outside the northeast entrance of Nuka-Town USA where Fizztop Mountain is located.

Melon Blossoms are also hard to find but there are some close by, 3 are located just outside of Starlight, towards Drumlin Diner. From the Wiki:

* Six in the area around the Mass Fusion containment shed.
* Three on a cliff facing the northeastern walls.
* Further south three on the ledge overlooking Old Gullet sinkhole next to some tree debris.
* Six on the east side of Lake Quannapowitt and Radio tower 3SM-U81.
* Four are directly east of the tower, the other two are north on a small island circled by a creek close to the road that crosses the creek.
* Four can be found west of Gorski cabin, three are in a cluster south of the rocks at the crossroad, another one a few meters east.
* Three west of the northern end of the screen at the Starlight Drive In. Just past the electricity pole.
* Three under the expressway roughly halfway between Lexington apartments and the line drawn due south from Covenant. They are in a hollow due east of a light blue car.
* Two are east of Wildwood Cemetery, just over a rocky ridge. next to a bus with a tree leaning on the back.
* Two on the road due south of Med-Tek Research. One north of the western end of the pool next to the road and the other further east nearer the T junction (to the ruined house encountered in The Lost Patrol).
* Three halfway to the road in the roughly northeast line from Listening Post Bravo to the Slog. There are two barkless tree trunks (one horizontal and one at 45 degrees oblique) two meters north by northeast of the spot.
* Two on the rocky cliff directly west of an unmarked shack, north of Vault 81.
* Two on the road west of relay tower 0SC-527, a short distance north of a ruined blue car and a fallen tree.
