Pretty sure you can rent a room in the Dugout Inn if you need to.

I believe you can rent a room at The Dugout Inn. Piper has a bed you can use if you recruit her. And there are a few unowned beds in the back near the water treatment plant.

You can also sleep at Kelloggs (I think.)

Hangman's Alley is near by and you can purchase Home Plate as a settlement in DC.

this is for sure. It is the only spot in Diamond City that you can sleep as far as i know. Actaully, you can sleep in the deserted apartment of that main buy. I am sorry, i forget his name. You steal the key and can then sleep in his deserted house.
