Dlc play time?
How much content and hours of play time do the dlc ( nuka world, automatron, and far harbor) add? Also, are these dlc worth it. Because I don't care how much content they add if they are boring

it depends on how you look at it. I have not done much of the dlc, but automatron adds the ability to make robots. And it adds a new set of enemies that show up randomly in the game world. This alone makes it worth the 5 or 10 it went for.

Automatron probably average of 6 hours playtime mixed in with the main story. Unless you absolutely drop everything and just prioritize it, then like 2 hourrs. Lot of robot building too, and they can help with your base so they are good addition.

Far Harbor took me probably 20 hours, and I didn't mess around much. I've heard some say they did it in a lot less. But I saw everything it felt like. (I didn't care much for the main story of it.)

The building dlcs could add a couple 100 hours if you're into them. My next run I think I'm going to focus more on them. But I haven't done anything with them yet really. Like 1 hour between all 3.

Nuka World. I'm taking my time with it, and probably have 30 hours into it. Exploring everything though. Probably have 10 more hours into it. But I can see some players and some runs I'd skip Nuka completely. Far Harbor too.

I'd say skip Far Harbor unles you are really into synths. And maybe Skip Nuka World if you don't want to buddy with raiders. They are funny though, I enjoy them. But I don't feel like I'm super evil or anything for teaming with them. They aren't like cannibal monsters or at least don't let us go on those types of missions.

Automatron missions are very quick, but I think just having those extra robot spawns in the wasteland make the game much more enjoyable. Some of those random spawns are toughest fights in game.

since Gnarl covered everything but the workshop dlc, i will add my observations about the workshop dlc: if you like settlement building, get the dlc. The dlc adds concrete walls, elevators, glass walls, vault sinks, a ton of different defense types, and the above mentioned robots. Building in vanilla without dlc is a horror. The concrete walls can be made to fit any terrain and click together real nice, unlike the crap metal walls that came with the base game. You can make a nice clean settlement.
