Bugged Railroad

After going to Old North Church I met with the railroad and Was confronted by Desdemona, etc.. After the talk they all walked toward HQ but just stood next to the wall until I left. I had to disable collision to even get in. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know a fix? I have a video that explains better.

then sounds like a bug, load before you entered the church and try again

Deacon should of stayed with you in the room. You have to work with him before you go any further with the Railroad. Be sure you got your energy defence up in your equipment as well. Good luck ^^

I thought about that but that should be my last resort. I've made a lot of progress in other parts of the game.

I had this problem during my playthrough before last, but not my most recent.

I *think* it was caused by a mod I was running the first time (but not the last) that provided a way to not kill the railroad when siding with the BoS.

Edit: Despite much tinkering with the console, I was never able to get Deacon to respond.

After Completing Road to Freedom they all just walked into the wall. I'm just going to start from an earlier save.

It's still bugged. Tradecraft doesn't start. Can I manually start the quest?

There is a command for that, yes. I can't be bothered to read the wiki myself tho, but I have done it for other quests before. I don't know the questid, you will have to find the command for quest progress manipulation, I think there are a few, and it should have a link to questids there. The Tradecraft page on the wiki should have the quest id itself, but I am not sure about for the specific objectives(it should though)
