Looking for a good hair mod
I was watching some FO4 videos on You Tube and there I saw that some people have very good looking hair on their character. The hair in FO4, just as in vanilla Skyrim, is awful, mainly because it looks as if the character used wax on it or something. I like hair to look natural, nice and silky. I'm a huge fan of Apachii's mod in Skyrim.

So I looked around in Nexus, I found a number of hair mods but they all either just change the color, or the contrast, or add new styles, but they still look stringy like vanilla styles. What is needed is to change the textures. There is one mod (RS Hairdo) that imports Apachii hairstyles but they look pasted on, like the hair and the face have different resolutions (the modder admits that there might be some problems).

So, anyone has an idea where those good-looking hairs I see in you tube cam from?

It might be worth asking the person posting those vides which hair pack they use and if they have custom or edited hair textures to go with them, though posting a link to those videos might help as well.

There are not after all that many fallout 4 hair mods around. Some of it may well be based on your enb and other graphics settings as well.

I think I found it. It's called Misc Hairstyles, however it is not on Nexus, it can be found on tumblr.com. Pretty neat hairs although many of them clip through hats.

Edit: Beware of the adware tho...

Hair is a nightmare to make look good. Just ask the people who worked on Witcher 3 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Even more so when a single player character, with dozens of head/face shapes and an unknowable amount of headgear options can change everything.

Fun fact: Final Fantasy 15 had 29 (Render team) + 2 (Concept artists) exclusively for hair.
