Fallout 4 in borderless windowed mode since update

I wanted to start FO4 and the steam launcher showed an update but only installed 0 bytes..
after that i wanted to play FO$ but the gameoly appeard inborderelss window mode only 2/3rd of my screen size. Any idea how to fix that? according to the .ini its still set to 1920X1080.

I'm hoping that I'm correct thinking you've had the same problem as me, if so try the following:

Go to Fallout 4's install directory and right click on Fallout4.exe, go to properties, then the compatbility tab, and ensure that "Override high DPI scaling behavior" is ticked, and that scaling is peformed by 'Application.

uncheck "borderless" in the launcher. Launch the game, move the window to where you want it. Close the game, check borderless again. viola.

This worked for me. Every time Ive reinstalled FO4 I've always had to find some hacky work around. But this... this here works like a champ no hacky editing of INIs no downloading a mod not 3rd party fix.
