This really highlights the problem with "Better" mods. For all its overal quality, the Nexus Mod Doom Armor integrates itself so poorly in the the base game, and not just because it's from a different IP. All the blending techniques for the assets are poorly done, unless the authors intent was to stick out like a sore thumb.
The Doomslayer armor isn't from Nexus, It's a complete rip from the 2016 game, which Nexus doesn't allow. A prime example is a few days ago someone posted a bunch of Resident Evil outfits which were just rips from the games, and within hours they were removed and it's very likely the modder was banned from posting more mods on Nexus for violating their terms of service in the first place.
So the Doomslayer Armor in that screenshot is likely aquird from another modding site that doesnt care about the source of the content.

It's intrusive as hell. It asks for an armor, and I got a mod that auto equip the armor, change my SPECIAL to an absurd point (3000 of Agility !) and change the voice of the character. Plus all the augmentation and perk that it adds
So, eh. No thanks
Well it was one of their marketing argument too : propose to people new content that are officially tested and accepted. That's the reason why CC mod doesn't disable achievements btw
There could be another reason for disabling achievements if non-Bethesda mods are added - preventing players getting achievements by adding over-powered mods that make achievements easier.
Hardly any of the CC content is OP. Power Armor can be grabbed at lvl 1 without needing CC content, and with only a few weak raiders nearby to worry about. Most of the other CC content doesn't confer a great combat advantage early on and getting some of it requires fighting toughish enemies. The Backpack adds a few small bonuses but nothing OP. There is a Backpack option that adds 100 carry weight, which is a convenience more than a combat bonus. Not sure if the upgrades of the Backpack need Armorer perks. Don't think so but the bonuses aren't great anyway.
