Trouble with Full Dialogue Interface
Hello,

I just re-installed Fallout 4 with a few mods yesterday, and I've been noticing an issue that I assume is related to FDI. (Full Dialogue Interface) I'm playing through the Nuka World DLC and anytime i speak to an NPC their next sentence begins before they finish the last one and you can hear both dialogue lines being played at the same time, which is annjoying to say the least. This also happens on the radio from what I can tell, the songs are being cut off a little early and the next one starts up as well as Travis news announcements have snipped lines as well, only on the radio the cut off line doesn't continue to play.

Mod list

FDI +Nuka world support + Far Harbor support
Arbitration
brighter settlement lights
Build High - expanded settlements
CBBE
Darker Nights
EBT_Basic
Different Power armor colours
Reverb and Ambiance Overhaul - All DLC
Scrap Everything - All DLC
FTO- Pipboy all in one
FTO power armor textures (t45, 60 and frame- didn't see x-01 :( )
Give me that bottle back
Interiors enhanced 2.0
More realstic handmade pipe weapons
Pip boy flashlight
Ponytail hairstyles
Power armor HUD
Vivid waters
WET
+ a set of 4k/2k texture packs

Most of these are just graphical, and non of them touch dialogue even if not graphical so I'm thinking for sure it's an FDI issue but I'm not too good at figuring these things out. I read something about it possibly being a string issue...and to remove a couple .ini lines

"For those experiencing string problems, try removing the .DLstrings and .ILstrings files that FDI adds. If you have those files added by another mod, keep them, but if they're from FDI, try deleting them." - posted by mod author on Nexus page.

If anyone can confirm this is what my issue is I'd be greatful.

edit: I cannot find .DLstrings or .ILstrings in any of th .ini files so I am just not sure.

Cap your FPS at 60 and you should be OK.

thanks. i am using this excellent mod myself and have had no trouble in the commonwealth, but i have not gotten to any of the dlc yet. Shouldn't be hard for me to cap my fps at 60. It rarely goes above that.

Oh really i wouldn't have guessed it could be a framrate issue...that's sad news, I am trying to run this at 144 FPS on a 144 Hz monitor...I have noticed that my walking speed is abnormally fast when I get all 144 FPS so i guess the engine just isn't meant for it. But that poses some slight annoyances in that I will have to set my refresh rate every time i want to play fallout :(
