Planting Crops Question - Please, Help!
Soooo, I have Wastelander Workshop DLC that provides a special crop planting squares. Somehow, I cannot plant more than 1 or 2 crops in it (while trailer suggested otherwise). Just in general, anything but tatos don't want to be planted close to each other or even in a neat row. 90% of the time my crops have a red line around them telling me I cannot plant them where I want which is insanely aggravating. I was wondering what causes it and how do you guys manage your gardens?

I am trying to do this in SH behind and on the side of SS's old house. I am seriously considering to move out of SH - it causes so many weird issues, let alone the uneven terrain that makes things "float" sometimes. Alas, I don't think that buildings and items I have created so far will transfer to, say, Starlight Diner via Workshop bench. Please, let me know if that's not the case and items are transferable. (I'd like to go to the airport, but Danse cannot be anywhere near Maxson and the Co, and I prefer to keep all my followers in one place).

I haven't delves too much into Sim Settlement Mod yet (I have it, but disabled) since I wanted to work more with contraptions, vault-tec and wastelander DLCs without getting mod involved.

Any advice from thus far awesome and helpful community? :steamhappy:

Place it in the ground and then move it to the dirt plot. Doesn't really work for corn or gourds, probably best to use Place Everywhere[www.nexusmods.com] for those.

FO4 Supply line wiki[fallout.wikia.com]. Aid, misc, junk items, and, excess food & water resources can be shared by workbenches if their settlements are linked. Amor and weapons are not transferable, even if the settlement is part of a supply line. You will have to go to that settlement and pick them up.

I was wondering about buildings and stuff? I guess I will have to scrap them if I decide to move?! That really sucks!

I did some testing in Sanctuary and Red Rocket. Stored workshop objects (walls, floors, roofs, furniture, & defences) are not shared with other supplyline settlements.

Other than Melons and Gourds you can fit atleast 4 of most and if you space it right tato, carrot, and I think corn as well can fit 6 plants. :shcscribe:

Thanks guys! I may have to either start with scratch at Diner, or activate sim settlement mod, and start at diner that way, so it eventually makes more sense.
