If you are using the same backpack mod as me it has an option to make carry weight increase mods for your power armor.
That, and it adds strength to you while wearing it, so 10 strength can become 14 in the right armour
If you are talking about Power Armor for carrying stuff it is pretty bad unless you don't have any points in strength at all. With my current melee build I actually get lower strength in power armor and less carry weight aswell, so I'm basically gimping myself by entering one.
Unless you are playing around a power armor user with all the handycaps and pros of that its not that useful in fallout 4.
not really, though you really shouldn't be carrying that much anyway, any more then 300 tends to result in a lot of clutter.
for one scrolling through the menu for two it means you likely have a lot of stuff you are not using. either A head back to a settlement and dump things off or B get soemthing like teh scavenger beacon mod.
Having a lot of things is pointless.
Though this is all personal opinion.
Edit: Here's a link to the Strong Back mod I was talking about. Make sure to ead the instructions. There's a version of the mod if you have Far Harbor and if you don't.
