Fallout 4 goty download size?

I recently bought the GOTY and I'd like to Ask for people who bought the game. does the download size only 31gb? i'm kinda surprised. I thought this will be 50+ gb. Did they compress the file? just curious.....

It's 80GB with the HD Texture Pack that Isn't worth It unless you have an ultra wide resolution or multiple monitors.
30 or so GB without It and with all the dlc.

Can I choose not to install the high res pack before installing the whole game

The high res texture pack is entire optional. If you didn't click on it and added it to your account it shouldn't download automatically. But if you did then maybe try unchecking the check box under DLC in your library after you press the install button.

Pinned Post if you already have the hd texture pack, otherwise it doesn't come with the hd texture pack by default.
