The only solution I found was using the console TCL command so it gets past some invisible block that keeps you from reaching the terminal.

Some people have said this is one of the things that may happen if the frame rate is to far above 60fps.

Any mods? I had that problem with "button lowered weapons" unless I put the gun away first

I do not think it will affect achievements to my knowledge only adding mods does that.

This is actually one of the few complaints that isn't entirely self-inflicted. Thanks for the TCL point, I fear I may need to use that at some point.

If you're worried about achievements, the old wisdom in here was that the console commands would prevent further achievements "for the current play session". All you had to do was log off and log back in again, that made it a new session. Maybe that's changed, maybe it was never true? I don't really know.

If you're running vanilla, I guess you're not using the Unofficial Patch - considered a 'mod' by many - but it's the only thing that deals with the bugs Bethesda leave in the game. Then of course, you will need the Achievents mod to resolve that issue and so on :)

Are there a Unofficial Patch ? If use this Patch need use other mod for enable the Achievments?.

Because patching is hard work, CC is easy money.

For this policy I have put negative review to the game, by Creations Club and stupids Bugs. Because this bugs looks like Early Access games or Day 1 launch but not for 2 years, incredible.

Fallout 3 is UNPLAYABLE, need install a lot of mods and unofficial patches. Fallout New Vegas need unofficial patches too. Fallout 4 too ? come on Bethesda fix your games.

Here's a fix. From what we can see, it's because the game goes to a higher FPS than it should that's causing this, in this case the fix is very simple and i would say elegant. I am using an RX 480 and a 144hz monitor, everytime i see a terminal i save before using it, i minimize the game, i go into radeon settings and set the GPU power limit to -50%, this obviously causes the GPU's frequency to decrease dramatically, which obviously lowers ur fps, afterwards i maximize the game back, do my thing on the terminal, save, return the GPU's power limiit like it was before and voila, high fps and no bugs. Keep in mind that you gotta do this every time you encounter a terminal, and yes also decreasing the frequency manually helps, but decreasing the power has no bugs in wattman so i went for it this way. Good luck guys :steamhappy:

Lock your FPS. Max FPS you can use without any problems is 75. Everything above and you will have this problem.
Just enable v-sync and you are good to go.

For those of you, who are stuck in the animation when -walking over to the terminal- just open console and toggle clipping "tcl". You character will clip through the object that causes you to be stuck and you are good to go. Don't forget to disable afterwards.

This bug is fatal for people playing on survival, who cannot save that often.

Yeah, hi. I'm gonna first pat myself on the back for resurrecting this but I found another way around the bug if you play in Survival. All you have to do is Alt-Tab between game and desktop until the game finishes the animation. That's all there is to it.
