This completely removes stupid console ported eyesore and restores PC master race dialogue.
Hopefully, the link takes you to the main page which features full dialogue interface (all languages, top left is main one), but there is also the Far Harbor patch for it (I haven't used that and it worked fine for me in far harbor-so if you get problems, there are patches at least).
on installation, you can set how you want the dialogue interface to look like, it's just brackets or bars but the general layout is a more 'normal' appearance for PC and you can see what player speech choices are, rather than paraphrased Abbreviations that me,an absolutely nothing to what you are actually going to say. <sigh>
Although I never use cursor keys for this game ever, apart from if a mod has them scripted in, (so far only FO:NV).
There's something that this game does not actually reveal to you and this is because of the bugginess in the cheap-ass port to PC; it's that you can actually use E key rather than enter key. Therefore for things like scrapping stuff in build mode, just whack R to scrap then E to confirm, instead of dragging mouse cursor over screen for 10 seconds, you can do things in a flash with the E key to confirm stuff. It doesn't actually say E it says Enter, and where you may feel the need to use mouse cursor, to hit a confirm option, just hit E. saves on muscle use and fatigue to the hands and wrists :)
Old man moves slow without his coffee. :p
Thanks, I'll try that one. I just installed the "companion command and tactics" mod from nexus, but that does not really work.
LOL! :D
