Idea for Bethesda to incorporate the CC into the gameplay.
/Shill mode on

Hey there folks!Bethesda has generously taken time out of their busy schedule to bring us the creation club(CC) which offers us the rare opportunity to pay for quality content.

I have an idea that can help increase the CC's visibility and let more people know how awesome it is!

Hold tight to your pantaloons!Rather than having the current system where the CC advertisement is only shown at the start menu where not much time is spent on by players. How about we make it show up during gameplay? It could be a targeted approach according to the frequency that the player takes a certain action.something like adsense. For example,if the player spends most of their time sneaking around,an advert regarding a certain stealth related item on the CC can pop up in the corner everytime the player goes into stealth.Message can be something like "Howdy stranger, noticed that you like to creep around a lot.How about trying out this Chinese stealth suit/ultimate stealthboy/enhanced silencer modification/etc?Only xxxx credits!"

If the player likes to use explosives a a lot,an advert can pop out everytime they whip out an explosive related item (fatboy, grenades, etc)!"So,word around town is that you like to go in loud and big.How about trying out this Ultimate MIRV,IFF mine, etc ? Only xxx credits! That's not all,if you buy 5 or more items within the next hour? We will give you a one time 3% discount on your bulk purchase!"

Please do it Bethesda.Grow the CC and give it the visibility it so desperately needs.Let it become an indespensible part of a wastelander's life just like their pipboy. The future is now!

/Shill mode off

Look at my profile picture. It's from the Modpocalpse. Just wait they are going to do it. Watch as you run out of ammo and a caravan comes along selling ammo for "points"$$. Total gambling business model.

That's actually a pretty swell and nifty idea.Beth,we have another potential winner here!

Excellent post. Naysayers may balk at it but they are probably communists. This is the way forward for Bethesda.

Thank you for the kind words!

I'm so inspired,I came out with another couple of quality suggestions for Bethesda's CC!

Why stop at one use transactions?Other companies make money by having pay per use items.Beth, you can do the same too.

For starters, you can try it out with the mysterious stranger.F2P players currently get a percentage chance to have him appear depending on their perk level. You can introduce a premium version that enables those with the perk to pay credits during VATS combat for a guaranteed appearance of the mysterious stranger.Maybe around 10 credits each use?

How about introducing lunch loot boxes like those in FO:Shelter? Those can only be opened with a key bought from the CC.

Taken time out of their busy schedule of re-releasing skyrim to screw us over even more. Best company ever!? Targeted advertising is obviously a must-have for a $60 game! I demand the Cancerous Club to include locked glass boxes for all bobbleheads. Each key should cost xxxx amount of credits! Hey it's only fair, people cheated by looking up their locations online, they didn't pay for that cheat!

That is actually not a bad suggestion at all!It actually presents other opportunities as well.My suggestion would be to leave existing bobbleheads as they are but introduce paid skinned versions that appear randomly in the game world once you have bought them!Maybe a Prey bobblehead,a Skyrim Bobblehead,Dishonoured Bobblehead, etc. Those with collector OCD will not be able to resist getting them all.Thank you for contributing to the effort to make the CC indispensible!

I would also like a mama murphy bobblehead and a bikini skin version of her too please.

Maybe they could charge 25 cents every play trough. Only one life though. Extra lives cost more CC bucks.

I am still very happy about the CC, the fact Fallout 4 is still being supported by its maker, and that more content is on the way, and this is a joke only.

You may be on to something there buddy!I don't think that will work though since the core concept of making money(especially in F2Ps) is to let the player play as long as they like but engineer it in such a way that they have to spend money due to certain compulsions (eg having to get every collectible).

My version of your suggestion would be related to power armor repairs.Maybe modify the current repair system such that each repair of the power armor part permanently reduces the original health of it till the point where it reaches a minimum of 1/1.Let's say a part that orginally had 100/100 health, first repair reduces it to 90/90,second to 80/80 and so on.Introduce a single use premium repair option(eg repair kit) that enables it to be fully repaired to its original state. That way, they have to make a hard choice between abandoning the current part and finding a new one, risking a firefight in a 1/1 power armor or pony up the money.

Regardless of joke or not,you have made a valuable contribution that can lead to other potential ideas,so thank you!

Maybe a "needs" mod. would be kinda cool. Everytime your character needs to take a dump you have to pay 1000 credits to Bethesda.

Not bad but that would be kind of costly. The ideal is to give the illusion of affordability yet actually earning more by encouraging frequent use of the premium item.

Early on,survival mode can be hard due to lacking basic necessities like food and water.Even if you could find them, they tend to give radition that adds up.My suggestion would be to introduce survival packages on the store. For example, single use prewar bottled water that not only fills up the entire meter but gives back 10% of your base health as well.A similar food version such as MREs can be done as well.Naturally, they should not give rads when consumed.

I would suggest 100 credits for a bundle of 10.

Don't forget boobs. Have to find some way to incorporate boobs into the strategy for it to be commercially viable.
