I can't believe they pulled this ridiculous cash stunt. These people are not thinking clearly.
It's not likely I buy another game from these "devs".
So the creation Club update made it so Fallout 4 won't even start. I click play, I get a black screen, and I go back to my desktop with no error message. If I delete Fallout 4 Custom .ini I can at least start the game, and some objects from some mods are still present, but it's pretty broken.
I'm downloading this rollback file, and I understand how to use it, but if anyone knows this exact issue and can help, that'd be great.
I don't even have any mods that require F4SE unless it was included in the mod somehow and I missed it, but everything worked before the update so the update must be what broke it.
EDIT: Made a copy of the current whatever/steamapps/you know the rest in case somthing goes horribly wrong here, at least that way I can start over if I make the issue worse.
The way your game is crashing doesn't sound like a F4SE issue. If you had F4SE issues you'd be seeing some error messages. I'd suggest temporarily disabling all mods. After that see if it runs. If it does, re-enable them like 10 at a time and re-launch it until it crahes again so you can narrow down the suspect.
that is on bethesda.net,

I'm still on my backed up v1.9.4 and 'convinced' Steam to stop touching it by another useful trick that doesn't force you to stay offline while playing.
I went into my backup and copied the libScePad, the two exes and the fallout esp thingies fallout is working again.
Id suggest for anyone to disable Fallout 4 in your firewall or learn to properly disable it from updating. Im about to google up how to disable the updates. ROLF
