(I never heard of Horizon either, but I've not heard of most mods since I don't use them)
I playing on very hars and I too much of a coward to play on Survival.
That said, I've used console commands to cheat, but only for the specific characters that I've decided to play that way (my main character is vanilla and completely cheat-free). I don't break whatever rules I decide on for each character.
How can you think its a good idea to play as "the devs intended" when the devs is mostly affected by focus groups than creating a deep game?
If you removed the turn based combat in for example divinity. This game is shallow and dead by comp for example there is no depth to how you level up your char etc etc and that game is made on a 4 million budget.
If I don't like how a game is played, I don't play it. I don't mod it to fit. In this case FO4 plays great IMO and I don't want to change the experience.
