also I shot alot of people as I clicked thru dialog, but I could use a different arrow button or something instead.
would have preferred if people didn't go hostile after I shot them for not talking fast enough.
Fallout 3 and New Vegas you had to equip them and put your gun or knife away to use them. This in turn also allowed you to use them in VATs for some epic slow motion explosive 1980s style fun.
Main problem is using VATs to throw grenades made it pretty much impossible to miss which was borderline broken.
Said no one who's ever thrown a grenade in VATS only to have the enemy move behind a wall and the grenade bounce back, Or find that "Invisible wall" over the hole in that wall bounce it back at you.
Personally I like the new system for one reason: Home runs.
Hotkey throw grenade, Mash VATS, Use baseball bat. WIN.
I know right. VATs grenade throwing in Fallout 3 and New Vegas was pretty much restricted to wide open areas. Otherwise it was insanely unreliable. Fallout 4 I can throw a grenade and have it land almost anywhere I like. Throwing them through windows is easier than ever for example. Getting them right next to cover enemies are hiding behind is also just as easy. Fallout 4 Grenades are multiple times more OP, but honestly less fun in my opinion.
Though I like that Base Ball idea you just mentioned I need to try that now.
Lol. PC is not dominating the console market.
