character walking instead of running

for some reason my character is locked into walking instead of running when i dont sprint.

this happens to me in certain situations where i can sprint and run but then for some reason i can't run again regardless of how many ap points i have or whether im close to being overloaded or nothing in my inventory.

very annonying doesn't make my character walk though just run or walk.

Try CAPS Lock.

yeah it sucks. my carry wieght is only half used and i can hold down c to run but before running was the normal action and i held down c to walk. why did it change?

yeah but mine presists even when caps lock is off regardless. it occurs when enemies are near by or at certain points i think near landmark buildings or places you can fast travel too, not sure why.

Not being able to sprint in some locations is a different issue usually caused by world editing mods. There is a fix for it, I don't remember what it's called but a google search should help.
