Empty Power Armor Frame now has armor?

I left a power armor frame without anything on it in the back room of Red Rocket with Valentine and it now has armor. I may have given nick some armor pieces and I was wondering if it was his doing.

Frames that are found in the wasteland can run into a reset bug. They will automatically revert to their original state when you found them. Removing any upgraded armored pieces and adding pieces once already removed. Which can be a joy or suck counting on the scenario. Hense why it is always suggested to buy new frames from specific dealers, rather than using default ones you find with armor in the wasteland.

I see, well atleast I had no armor on the frame, thanks for informing me of the dangers of this bug however.

Don't know about that exact event but stick with Nick. Thousands of hrs in vanilla, maybe perks or dust pixies but Nick is by far, IMO, the least technically problematical companion. YIMV.

To your topic, I have experienced similar and what I found was those armour pieces were missing (taken?) from PA in the same settlement. It seemed Frames were to be outfitted. No pieces missing from a complete set.

Did not know that but then always used purchased frames. Vanilla, no patch, have had PA frames (purchased) that were bare and after time and mayhem have found them to be partially armoured. Also, matched those pieces to armour from my partially finished fframes littering the settlement (Sanctuary).

In vanilla, I have had PA appearance changes, that sort of issue that is probably resolved with the unofficial patch. Didn't check.

just to have it said: coud be a simple grafical glitch too, look in the Inventory if realy something is on it..
Sometimes that happens if you leave em empty

Update, went back to check on the armor and its back to normal again, most likely a graphical error, but I will keep looking into this

♥♥♥♥... I need to go around half a dozen or more settlements stripping all my armour...

over 1000 Hours here and never had parts dissapear expect i was doing it myself with reycleactor

But i can comfirm his glitch, specialy if you put more then one empty frame in some place they all have suddenly showing Random parts.. but acutaly zero is on them
