Lorenzo's Magical OP Serum and Immortality

So I was doing some thinking, and depending on the morality of your character, it would appear that synths might not be the only immortal people in the Commonwealth. Lorenzo Cabot's blood is made into a serum that not only lowered radiation, but as we see from Emogene and Jack Cabot, causes temporary immortality.

The serum that Lorenzo gives you for freeing him, is this the same serum that the Cabot family uses? Does that mean, in terms of lore and possible canon, the Sole Survivor could become immortal? Now, I wouldn't think that Bethesda would make this canon, in fact, I'm 100% sure that the Sole Survivor won't be immortal and as far as canon goes, they will eventually die or leave the Commonwealth as the Lone Wanderer did.

But I thought this was pretty interesting and I'm surprised I had never thought of this or seen it on the forums. Now, I've never freed Lorenzo, so maybe Lorenzo states that using this serum will render you ageless and makes this entire thread pointless.

I freed him once. He ended up killiing Wilehmena and Jack went full depression. It broke the last part of the quest too lol..

With Lorenzo's death the whole Cabot family are dead people anyway, why not to keep one of them alive on terms of getting that serum for your character?

Because it requires trusting a crazy man with alien tech on his head.

Also if you've played others you'd know the fallout aliens are alot more into being probey and doing wierd science expiriments on people than helpful.
